I'm constantly reminding my colleagues that the words we use matter. What we call something, even internally in the studio, frames how we look at it.

I completely agree. It's the same in teaching. The words we use to talk about students and teaching matter even if the students never see those words because they shape pur attitudes toward the students and how we teach them.
