Weekly Discussion Post
Hello, everyone! February's Snowflake Challenge was so much fun. Let's keep the conversation going. :)
Comment to tell us about what you've been up to with your journal, planner, or other stationery related items. Tell us about a new pen or a coveted notebook. Consult the hive mind with a problem you've been having. Post a picture! Whatever goes as long as it falls in the realm of journals and planners. Remember, you can always make your own top-level post, too!

I just inked up my Lamy with Monteverde Fire Opal. It's such a pretty ink. I had it in another fountain pen, but it did that crust up around the nib thing that some orange and red inks do (I think maybe I hadn't cleaned it well enough and there was an ink interaction), so I'm crossing my fingers it won't happen this time.

I took a look at planners that are already out there. I used Passion Planner for a bit and while it's good and it would be a good option to get again, i struggle to use it sometimes. Hobonichi Techo also looked good, but it's so expensive. I even made a mock up of it to try it, but i just wasted a lot of those daily pages.
Then i decided to make my own. Apparently, you can print your own notebook on Lulu for like 5€ without putting it up for sale, so that's what i'm going to do.
I'm still testing it out and actually, if anyone's interested, you can try it out too. Although, let me know if you do so i can give you printing info (the pages are a bit smaller than A4 and a bit bigger than A5).
[ID: Planner open on the weekly spread. There tasks in each day of the week and several blocks representing my classes. The first three days also have things highlighted in green to indicate that they're done or cancelled. The first column has reminders and things that are to be done this week, but i don't know when yet.]

We use Lulu for the print version of an academic journal I edit; I hadn't realized you could inexpensively do a single volume.

I got this guided journal for my b-day. It offers one question per day, to answer twice: morning reflections and evening reflections. Questions are not of a fun/trivia kind, but require contemplation. For example, "what things are under your control", "how you can keep your mind from pollution", "what is your purpose in life". Entries are dated starting from Jan 1, but even though I got the book much later, I started from the beginning, because the questions build upon each other, and it's important to answer them in order, but they don't actually depend on calendar dates and week days.
As a journaler newbie, I really appreciate it that the framework is so strict, and even that the answer space is limited, so you have to be concise. Being free to ramble on any subject without restrictions would cause a quick burnout (as it has always happened with all my paper journaling attempts ;) And the questions are really helpful.

So I got some cute stickers, a Uni Ball Signo 151 in grey, two Pilot Hi Tec C pens (brown .3, blue black .28), a refill for my violet Pentel Energel, and a Energel Clena in brown.
