IMHO you shouldn't force yourself to keep separate journals if you don't feel the need to. I do have two: one I carry around, with work-related stuff, important dates etc. and one I use as a diary (this one doesn't leave the house and contains swarms of stickers, tip-ins, watercolour doodles etc).
I don't use Moleskine though because it's too expensive here and I really like small formats (mostly A6)
