Decorating your journal/planner

When do you decorate your pages? Do you do that in advance, during writing on an actual page or afterwards, when all of the writing is done? What supplies do you enjoy using (stickers, markers, watercolours, stamps etc.)?

Date: 2017-05-15 02:19 am (UTC)I use pretty washi tape to separate off different days in my bullet journal. Right now I have a washi tape that has pictures of cats. (Do you sense a theme...?)
I also use stickers in pretty patterns or shapes to mark special events or good news.
