My first quarter was not great (Christmas family dysfunction after effects, sick twice, did a little depression, just generally an off kilter start to the year - nothing disasterous, but nothing going as desired). And so I pretty much did not touch any of the lovely books I had planned until February (outside of tracking things in the Jibun Techo Days). Then I decided in Febrary to switch sizes in the JT Days. (I don't know why I needed to be in an A5s, but I did most urgently.) My weekly planner (a Nolty) didn't work out for me, so I swapped it, then swapped it again, and now I'm thinking about ditching it completely in favor of just doing everything except daily planning in a Stalogy. I have really been enjoying a B6 Stalogy, but I really wish I'd randomly picked up the full size B6 instead of the half year B6. If I had stayed in a B6s JT Days, I would switch to a Nanami Cafe Note and put them both nice and snug in the same cover, but I didn't, so I guess I will continue on feeling itchy about my planner/journal system. (I could do that in July when the JT Days half year runs out, but then I'll have two different sizes in JT Days for the year. Which is also itchy.) So that's how 2024 is going over here.

I'll try to get back in here and read everyone else's catch up tomorrow. I enjoy seeing what we are all doing.

*hugs*

I'm sorry the start of the year was rough for you. I hope things have improved.

What didn't work for you in the Nolty?

Holy moly I have been bad at the internet lately! Sorry for the month later reply. (Things have definitely improved, though!) The Nolty mostly feel victim to my state of mind the beginning of the year - I got the layout with the week across the top and open note space underneath and it just felt too unstructured at the time. (The fact that the paper bled with the Preppy highlighters I'm using didn't help, though.) I still think this could be a good layout for me at a different time. The events of the week laid out across the top was really nice.

I hate it when the paper bleeds! So annoying.

And don't worry about late replies. These posts never close, so always feel free to come back to something that's interesting if you want.
