Hey, hello!! I wanted to share my new journal I just started and I'm also a new member. ^^; Long time user of journals though. Without further ado, I bought this journal at 8pxl.

Sorry for the terrible quality pictures. I have a cheap phone. But! I love their art in general and jumped at the chance to buy the journals when they made the art on them. They do have some more in their shop but I don't think they have released a hard-binding cover like this one in a while. I have one other one besides this one and I do plan on buying those other ones on their shops to at least see if I can use them.

The pages are blank which was kind of surprising. I don't mind that so much but I do prefer grid. I was going to use it at that point for an art journal but I then found out the pages are really thin. My G2 Pilot Pens are even sort of heavy for it. So, I can't make messes in it with paints or anything much else for that matter besides pencils. I was a little bit disappointed in that but I can make do with it. :3 Besides, I have plenty of mixed media sketch books for that. I'm thinking this is going to be my personal journal with heavy emphasis on poetry, my personal religion & spiritual beliefs. I found a Wicca Sticker book at the local Books A Million store and it is pretty cool, honestly. I'm going back next paycheck for the Victoria Sticker book and maybe another one of these if they still have them because now I have stickers that have something to do with my personal religion and spiritual beliefs.
I was going to turn this into another writing bible but ehhhh.... I already have my "public work & bullet journal" for that... :D

Date: 2024-05-06 09:51 pm (UTC)I own a grid stamp, which I keep meaning to try out on some of my loose pages to see how I like using grids before committing.

Date: 2024-05-11 04:32 pm (UTC)I honestly didn't know that was a thing. :o That's a pretty cool and handy tool to have for journaling. That's definitely a good way to try it before committing to an entire journal with grid paper in it. The only reason I prefer grid a touch more than blank is because I can make different areas in neat little boxes but I honestly can make do with any type. ^^;
