Book-Themed Bullet Journal

I enjoyed having a year-long theme in my bujo last year, so I decided I would do it again this year. The theme for the year is books, specifically children's books.

This is the first day of my new bujo year, so here are the first few spreads:


I do all of these with markers, as I've found they work better with the paper in the Leuchtturm1917 journals. I do the year and season art on marker paper and then glue them into the journal.

First of all, here is the first spread, which I try to use to set the tone for the whole year


Next up, the first season of my year, summer.


And now the first monthly spread, based on Dr. Seuss's Sleep Book, which was my favorite when I was a kid.




I'm excited to start working in the new journal!

This looks so cool and makes me want to try bullet journaling at some point. Love the idea of a yearly theme, too.

I sort of fell into it by accident because someone gifted me with a small A5 notebook and I didn't know what to do with it. I'd seen someone mention bullet journaling on my reading page so I investigated. Turns out it *really* works for me - a very big help keeping my life together.
