Hello, everyone! The TLDR before I start: I would like recommendations for an undated planner with daily pages. I'm not familiar with a lot of planner brands and types, and I'm not entirely satisifed with the CleverFox planner I'm trying at the moment.
More details about the situation along with photos of what I'm using at the moment below:
I welcome any recommendations you may have! :D

I've been using the BuJo planner method for a little over a year now, but while there's a lot I like about it, I'm trying to transition BuJo philosophy into a planner with dates (ex. I really like the task list style of a BuJo, but I am awful at remembering to check logs and transfering tasks and appointments--it'd be easier if I can just write them in on the day they occur).
After searching around a bit, I picked up the CleverFox Undated Daily Planner (6 mo), and there are things I really like about it, and a lot of things I'm not a fan of.
First, what I love:
The thick pages. It makes for a larger book, but I adore how thick the paper is. I feel like I could write with a permanant marker and it wouldn't bleed through. LOL. It's a big highlight for me.
I like the Weekly bookends for quick "What do I want overall for the week" and "Did I actually do any of that this week" style things.
But that's about where the love stops.
For starters, I know it's the nature of undated planners, but I have a lot of empty daily pages after I filled out the dates. I'm not sure what to do with them (though I suspect this will be an issue in any planner I pick up).
I don't need all the goal setting pages and focus that this journal has, but I also really like a "Weekly overview" start page and "Weekly summary" ending page. I love those!

I'm aware that no planner is going to be perfect, but I'm sure there is something out there that is a better fit.

Date: 2024-12-16 05:39 pm (UTC)Sorry for my not understanding, if this question sounds weird--would it work to write the date on a page right as you're about to use it for that day, rather than in advance?
(I haven't used daily planners that have weekly summary pages, so I hope others have suggestions for you!)

Date: 2024-12-16 05:51 pm (UTC)Because it's undated, each month section has to have enough for the longest month, so there are five weeks per month segment. So for most months, there's a full week of days blank.
Adding on that the last week of each month usually includes the first few days of the next, means for some months I have two weeks of blank daily pages.
It feels like a waste of paper.
I could just keep going in order for the weeks, but then the monthly calender planning pages end up falling in all sorts of weird places and it gets confusing. Lol.

I look forward to hearing what you think of your new one.
I'm still trying to transfer information into my 2025 Witches' Datebook. I finished January though, so that buys me time for working further ahead.
