abyssal_sylph: Kanaya and Rose are on a red with brown couch, reading a book with the HS quadrants symbols on it, both look very happy. (rosemary reading (homestuck))

"My/Our" put in the title because we're plural, but hi I'm Jade (she/they/bark)! I wanna get this system more into journaling again :] but for now here's my/our anwsers.

If you consider the different ways you can engage with pens and stationery—as a user, a collector, a hobbyist, a creator, a maker, a vendor—which roles fit best and what percentage of 100% would you assign to each? Are you happy with the balance?
🐕 we're moreso a collector then user of stationary (not a large collection, but we wanna expand anyway). But I'm trying to change that! I'm not sure what to journal about. But looking at our pages with stickers is nicer & thus wanna create more joy in our daily live ^_^

What is something you want to understand better or develop more informed opinions about?
🐕 Journaling in general, like we're very much amateurs. But also making stationary ourselves, but that's moreso a skill we wanna learn.

In the pen community, what's something someone has said or done that stuck with you?
🐕 IDK if this counts, but in Why I HATE Creativity by [youtube.com profile] Aznuc said something about how creativity has been commadified to spend all your free time making cash. Its something that was nice to be adressed.

There are now 25 hours in a day, a bonus hour is available to use however you like as long as pens or stationery are involved—how do you spend your hour?
🐕 Writing... something (we still struggle with writing ngl). But also decorating things :3

In the pen community yearbook, what would your superlative be? (i.e. "Best ______", "Most _______" "Most likely to _______")
🐕 Most likely to Procrastinate!

How do you feel about your handwriting?
🐕 We all got the same handwriting. Its doctor coding in spelling mistaked. But friends have called it cute & now I see it too.

What is something you are proud of doing, achieving, or overcoming?
🐕 The hurdle of "but what do we write about???". It's nice when we got stuff on the page.

You're going on a writing retreat anywhere in the world—where would you go, what would you write, and what would you write with?
🐕 No clue + decoratable notebooks with cute pens and stickers.

What's a current or favorite creative outlet?
🐕 Drawing, like characters & alike.

What's something that causes you benign envy—the kind of admiration and desire that leads to inspiration or motivation?
🐕 Seeing other people's work!

What's a comfort item, material, or color?
🐕 Our plush bunny, idk & pastels in general.

What would be a dream collaboration, project, or partnership?
🐕 Not sure. But think it would be nice to create an original story with wacky worldbuilding & lots of funky family trees and relationship charts.

There is a journaling sub on reddit (just called journaling) that has a good masterlist of things to write about that might help you.
